Olga was born In Russia, in the city of Tashkent , which, in April 1966, suffered a devastating earthquake (7.5 on the Richter Scale). 300,000 were left homeless and 78,000 homes were destroyed in the old city. The Soviet Union and other countries sent battalions of urban planners and developers to rebuild the devastated Tashkent. By 1970, over 100,000 homes had been built and a “model Soviet city” was created with tree-lined streets, parks, and immense plazas with fountains and monuments. It is this experience that fostered Olga's desire to help people find their perfect home.

Olga came to America in 1993. She secured her degree in Computer Science, and worked a number of years at Credit Suisse First Boston. With the rich history of her homeland still in her blood, in 2003 her desire to work in real estate came to fruition. Fueled by her innate passion for “all things real estate” and assisting people find their dream homes, Olga Zakinova set out to take the market by storm.
 

“After having worked for a small broker to get my feet wet, I partnered with an attorney and we opened our own office”, said Olga. “But, I realized that something was missing. I wanted to take my career to the next level and have a broader reach that would enable me to help more people."

Olga did her research and, as she puts it…”Companies didn’t interview me…I interviewed companies!” It didn’t take Olga long to make her decision and make her move to Prudential Douglas Elliman. “I could see and feel that this was the best move for me and my career, and it was also the best move for my clients and customers. There is only one Number One…and that is where I wanted to be.”

Olga is a consistent Top Producer and has been awarded Top Honors at Prudential Douglas Elliman. She enjoys working with both buyers and sellers and has developed a specialty for higher-end upscale residential properties.
