Queens is a great area to live in. Queens is made up of many different communitites, each with their own unique special attributes that accommodate all types of interests. Queens remains an affordable solution to Manhattan, while offering one of the best school districts in NYC, District 26. With multiple ways commute, Queens provides easy access to the city, without the hassle and expensive costs of living. Queens is a diverse area that holds culture specific houses of worship, dining and shopping, all convenient to each neighborhood. Located on the western portion of Long Island, Queens is home to two of the three major New York City area airports, JFK International Airport and LaGuardia Airport. It is also the location of the New York Mets baseball team, the US Open tennis tournament, Flushing Meadows Park, Kaufman Astoria Studios, Silvercup Studios, and Aqueduct Racetrack. Queens is made up of areas that are concentrated with single family residential homes (Bellrose, Floral Park, Hollis Hills, Hollis Wood, Jamaica Estates, Kew Gardens, Little Neck, Douglaston, Beechhurst, WhiteStone, Flushing, Fresh Meadows) and areas that contain mostly co-op/multi-family/garden apartment communities (Briarwood, Kew Garden Hills, Forest Hills, Rego Park, Bayside, etc). All of which offer unique comfortable environments to suit anyone's lifestyle. There is less congestion, a central mall, pools, gyms, basketball courts, train stations, 2 major airports and many express lines all ready to be utilized.
